Starting in 2026, Terra Ignota will acquire legal status as a corporation with its headquarters in Cabo de Hornos. The corporation will include participating members from Argentina, Germany, and Chile, and will be supported by a distinguished team from the Universidad Austral de Chile.
With this structure, we aim to lay the foundations and consolidate Terra Ignota as an independent corporation dedicated to scientific research and artistic creation in the Chilean sub-Antarctic and Antarctic territories.
We thank Matías Palma for the drafting of the Association’s articles of incorporation and bylaws.
