Floating Laboratory

We congratulate Federico Stäger on successfully bringing the Floating Laboratory out of the water. After a year of preparations, the vessel is now at the dock, where it will be repaired and equipped with scientific and artistic instruments that will enable navigation and research in the Cabo de Hornos archipelago.

Terra Ignota Sub-Antarctic Nomadic Laboratory

Starting in 2026, Terra Ignota will acquire legal status as a corporation with its headquarters in Cabo de Hornos. The corporation will include participating members from Argentina, Germany, and Chile, and will be supported by a distinguished team from the Universidad Austral de Chile.
